Come Easy’s maintenance plans are all individual and based on the fauna and layout of your garden. This means that we first visit the garden and then make a plan with you that suit you and the nature surrounding your garden.
Four factors are important when maintaining your garden:
1. Watering according to the seasons and plants.
2. Keeping the garden clean and tidy, that means having a garden without unwanted weeds, stones etc.
3. Utilizing sunlight, fertilizers and the quality of soil to optimize the potential of your garden.
4. Establishing a good working relationship between the house staff and your gardener.
When we make a maintenance plan, we will include existing staff, so we make sure that we don’t work against each other. A crucial factor is to train existing staff in what to do and specially what not to do. That is the way to go, if you want full value of our maintenance plan.
The principals of an African Stone Garden diktats low maintenance and lesser use of watering; that means that once the maintenance plan and the training of existing staff is complete you will in most cases be able to take over the maintenance yourself. Alternatively, if you so prefer, we can do the future maintenance for you where we visit your garden a couple of hours twice or three times a week, and you will have an everlasting garden being nice and need for every occasion.
