In the rainy season, where it sometimes pores down, water in big quantities was running down the driveway and onto the front yard of the house where it created problems. The solution was to make a drain following the left hand side of the driveway to collect water running off from the bush and to dig drains crossing the driveway so the water can be led into the bush on the right hand side of the driveway and away from the house.
